Chris Henandez and Alex Ford are two halves of the director duo AUTRE FISH. Chris and Alex see Autre Fish as a safe space. It’s a home for their craft where they enjoy creating along side friends, as well as telling stories and making films of their own, all while keeping a rather anonymous persona to keep eyes on the work itself.

The two crossed paths at USC, while receiving their Master’s in Film & Television Production. During their final year at USC, in addition to their studies, they both worked as coordinators in post production at Amblin Entertainment on a number of movies before deciding they were ready to swim on their own path and form the journey that felt right for them.

In recent years, Autre Fish has directed campaigns and worked with brands such as New Balance, Facebook, Adidas, McLaren, Mercedes, YSL and many more. They also frequently work with Los Angeles based clothing brands such as Bricks & Wood and Bristol Studio. 

Fish tend to travel in schools. Homogenous groups of them swim through the currents together, no questions asked. The two of us don't look the same, and we have very different personalities, yet somehow there's no doubt we'll always be swimming together. We're just following the currents where both of us feel at home.

In French, the word “autre” means “other.” 
 We're simply some "other fish."
